My photographs capture contemporary Native American life. Too often, \u201cIndians\u201d are depicted as figures in history books, as long-forgotten museum relics, and, still, as mascots. Native People are very much alive. We live and work in present-day society while protecting and cultivating our rich traditions and culture.
