I am a Jamaican-born outsider artist. I explore the layers of my own identity\u2014Blackness, womanhood, mother, worker, and immigrant. This work uses Jordan Peele’s film Us<\/em>\u00a0to consider Black girlhood and how Black girls navigate across time, history, movements, laws, and spaces.
